Car
If you are traveling by car within West Nile, start your journey from Arua town. Head southeast on the main road (Arua-Kampala Road). Continue for about 50 kilometers until you reach the junction of the Kampala-Masaka Road. Follow the signs to Kampala. Once you reach Kampala, navigate towards the city center, and follow the signs for Lubiri Ring Road. Kabaka's Palace (The Twekobe) is located at Lubiri Ring Road, Rubaga Division. Ensure to use a GPS or map app for accurate navigation.
Public Transportation
To reach Kabaka's Palace via public transportation, take a bus or shared taxi from Arua to Kampala. The journey will take approximately 6-7 hours. Once you arrive in Kampala, get off at the main bus terminal and take a boda-boda (motorcycle taxi) or a taxi to Lubiri Ring Road. The fare for the boda-boda should be around 5,000-10,000 UGX, depending on the distance. Inform the driver that you want to go to Kabaka's Palace, and they will take you directly to the location.
