If you're traveling by car from any location in West Nile, start by heading towards Arua City. From Arua, take the Gulu Road (A1) southbound. Follow the A1 until you reach the junction with the Masindi Road (A4). Turn onto the Masindi Road heading east. Continue on the A4 until you reach the town of Masindi. From Masindi, follow the signs to Kampala, which is roughly 200 kilometers away. As you approach Kampala, you'll see signs for the Uganda Equator in Kayabwe. Public Transportation (Bus)

Once you arrive in Kampala, you can catch a taxi or a boda-boda (motorcycle taxi) to Kayabwe, where the Uganda Equator is located. The fare for the taxi or boda-boda is around 10,000 to 20,000 UGX depending on negotiation and traffic. Ensure to ask the driver to take you to the Uganda Equator site for a direct route.

Private Hire (Taxi)

If you prefer a more direct route, you can hire a private taxi from Arua to the Uganda Equator. This option is more expensive but offers convenience. The driver will take you directly to the Equator site in Kayabwe, where you can enjoy the landmark and local shops.
