If you're traveling by car, start from Arua City, which is the main urban center in West Nile. Head east on the Arua-Pakwach Road (also known as the A1 road). Continue for approximately 67 kilometers until you reach the town of Pakwach. From Pakwach, follow the signs for the Kagulu Rock trailhead. The drive may take about 1.5 to 2 hours depending on traffic and road conditions. Once you arrive at the Kagulu Rock trailhead, there is a parking area where you can leave your vehicle.

If you're using public transportation, catch a taxi or bus from Arua City to Pakwach. The journey typically takes around 1.5 to 2 hours. Once in Pakwach, hire a motorcycle taxi (locally known as 'boda boda') to take you to the Kagulu Rock trailhead. The motorcycle ride will take approximately 15 to 20 minutes, and you should negotiate the fare before starting the journey, which usually costs around 10,000 to 15,000 UGX.
