The drive from Arua to Murchison Falls takes around 3-4 hours. Make sure to have cash for the park entrance fee, which is approximately 40,000 UGX for Ugandans and 150,000 UGX for foreign visitors.

    Public Transportation

    To reach Murchison Falls via public transport, start by taking a taxi or a boda boda to the Arua Bus Station. From there, you can board a bus heading towards Gulu. These buses typically leave every hour and the journey to Gulu takes about 2-3 hours. Once in Gulu, look for a shared taxi or a minibus that goes to Masindi. This ride usually takes about 1.5 hours. Upon reaching Masindi, you will find taxis that can take you directly to the park entrance.
