Car
If you are traveling by car, start your journey from Fort Portal, which is one of the nearest major towns to Kibale Forest. From Fort Portal, take the Bwamba Road (also known as the Fort Portal-Kibale Road) heading west. After approximately 30 kilometers, you will reach the entrance to Kibale Forest National Park, which is well marked. Follow the signs to the park headquarters, where you can obtain more information and arrange for guided tours. Please note that there may be a park entrance fee of around 40,000 UGX (Ugandan Shillings) for foreign tourists.
