Car
If you are traveling by car, head towards Kichwamba from any location in Western Region. Use Google Maps or any GPS-enabled device, inputting 'Q3HX+Q87, Kichwamba' as your destination. The roads are generally well-marked. Upon arriving in Kichwamba, look for signs directing you to the Twin Lakes. There is an admission fee of UGX 2,000 per person at the entrance.
Public Transportation
For those using public transportation, board a matatu (shared taxi) heading towards Kichwamba from your current location. Ask the conductor to drop you off at the Kichwamba junction. Once you arrive, you may need to walk approximately 1-2 kilometers to reach the Twin Lakes. Alternatively, you can hire a motorcycle taxi (boda boda) from the junction to the lakes for a small fee, usually around UGX 1,500-2,000.
Boda Boda
If you find yourself near the Kichwamba junction, you can easily take a boda boda to the Twin Lakes. Just tell the driver 'Twin Lakes' or show them the location on your phone. The ride should cost between UGX 1,500-2,000. This is a quick and convenient option, especially if you're carrying luggage or prefer not to walk.
