Car
If you're traveling by car, start from the town of Yaremche, which is approximately 40 km away from Reheska. Head south on the H09 highway towards the village of Tatariv. Continue driving until you reach the village of Mykulychyn. From Mykulychyn, take the road to the east that leads to Reheska. The road may become narrow and winding as you approach the mountain area, so drive carefully. There are no tolls on this route, but be prepared for potential parking fees near the peak. Expect the drive to take about 1 hour.
Public Transportation
For public transportation, take a bus from Ivano-Frankivsk to Yaremche. Buses leave regularly from the Ivano-Frankivsk bus station, and the journey takes about 1.5 hours. Once you arrive in Yaremche, you will need to take a local taxi or arrange for a private driver to get to Reheska, as there are no direct buses to the peak. Taxis can be hired for around 200-400 UAH (approximately $8-$15) depending on negotiation. The taxi ride should take about 30 minutes.
Hiking
If you're feeling adventurous and want to hike to Reheska, you can start from the nearest village, Mykulychyn. From Mykulychyn, follow the marked hiking trails that lead towards the mountain peak. Ensure you're well-prepared with proper hiking gear, as the trails can be steep and challenging. This hike can take approximately 2-3 hours depending on your fitness level. Make sure to carry enough water and snacks, as there are no facilities along the way.
