Car
If you're driving, start from the center of Hoverla Mountain. Head west on the main road (H09) towards Voronenko. Follow the signs for Voronenko, and continue for about 25 kilometers. Once you reach Voronenko, look for the Unnamed Road leading to Polonyna Bukovynka, which will be your left turn after passing through the village. Drive along this road for approximately 5 kilometers until you reach the parking area near Polonyna Bukovynka. Note that the road conditions may vary, and a 4WD vehicle is recommended.
Public Transportation
To reach Polonyna Bukovynka via public transport, start by taking a bus from the Hoverla Mountain area to the town of Yaremche. Buses operate frequently and the ticket costs around 50 UAH. Once in Yaremche, transfer to a bus heading to Voronenko. The fare for this leg is about 30 UAH. Upon arrival in Voronenko, you will need to walk towards the Unnamed Road for about 1 kilometer to access Polonyna Bukovynka. Ensure to check the bus schedules in advance as they may vary.
Hiking
For the adventurous, you can hike to Polonyna Bukovynka from Hoverla Mountain. Start from the Hoverla Mountain trailhead and head towards Voronenko. The hiking trail is well-marked but can be quite challenging. It's approximately a 15-kilometer hike and may take around 5-6 hours, depending on your fitness level. Make sure to bring sufficient water and snacks, as there are no facilities along the way.
