Car
If you are driving from the center of Hoverla Mountain, head south on the main road (H09) towards Yaremche. After approximately 20 minutes, turn left onto the road leading to the village of Mizhhirya. Continue straight for about 10 kilometers until you reach a sign for Smotrytsʹki Vodospady. There is a parking area available near the entrance. Please note that parking may require a small fee of around 20 UAH.
Public Transportation
To reach Smotrytsʹki Vodospady via public transportation, start from the main bus station in Hoverla Mountain. Take a bus heading towards Yaremche, which operates frequently. After about 30 minutes, get off at the stop for Mizhhirya. From there, you will need to walk approximately 3 kilometers to the waterfalls. Follow the signs for Smotrytsʹki Vodospady and enjoy the scenic walk. Be sure to check the bus schedules for return trips to Hoverla Mountain.
Hiking
For those who enjoy hiking, you can reach Smotrytsʹki Vodospady by taking a hiking trail from Hoverla Mountain. Start near the Hoverla summit and follow the marked trails towards the waterfalls. This hike is about 8 kilometers and can take approximately 2-3 hours, depending on your pace. Ensure you have appropriate hiking gear, water, and snacks for this journey.
