If you are starting from the city center, make your way to the 'Arsenalna' metro station on the Red Line (Line 1). Once you arrive at 'Arsenalna', exit the station and head towards the exit that leads to Gulliver Shopping Mall. Once outside, turn left and walk along the road towards the Pechersk Lavra (Monastery). You will see signs directing you towards the Lavra. Continue walking in that direction for about 10-15 minutes until you reach Lavrska Street.

From the Lavrska Street, head to number 27 where the Monument to Afghanistan Veterans is located. The monument is situated in a park area. Keep an eye out for the large monument as you approach, which is unmistakable and a significant landmark in the area.

If you prefer to take a bus, you can catch bus number 24 or 114 from the city center. Look for the bus stops near the 'Maidan Nezalezhnosti' metro station. Board the bus and get off at the 'Pecherska Lavra' stop. After disembarking, walk towards Lavrska Street and continue walking until you reach the Monument to Afghanistan Veterans at 27 Lavrska Street.

You can also take tram number 18 from the central area. Board the tram at a nearby tram stop, and ride it until you get off at the 'Pecherska Lavra' stop. From there, it's a short walk to Lavrska Street, where the monument is located. Just walk straight down Lavrska Street until you see the monument.
