St. Michael's Golden-Domed Monastery: A Jewel of Kyiv

Getting There

• Metro

  If you are near a metro station, take the Metro Line 3 (the red line) and travel to 'Teatralna' station. From 'Teatralna', exit the station and head northwest toward Volodymyrska Street. Continue walking straight until you reach the intersection with Triokhsviatytelska Street. Turn left onto Triokhsviatytelska Street, and you will find St. Michael's Golden-Domed Monastery at number 8 on your left.

• Walking

  If you are in the city center, make your way to Maidan Nezalezhnosti (Independence Square). From there, walk along Khreshchatyk Street until you reach the intersection with Bohdana Khmelnytskoho Street. Turn right onto Bohdana Khmelnytskoho and continue straight until you reach the intersection with Triokhsviatytelska Street. Turn left onto Triokhsviatytelska Street, and St. Michael's Golden-Domed Monastery will be located at number 8.

• Bus

  Find the nearest bus stop and take bus number 24 or 114. Get off at the 'St. Michael's Cathedral' stop. From there, walk straight for about 5 minutes along Triokhsviatytelska Street, and you will reach St. Michael's Golden-Domed Monastery at number 8.

• Tram

  If you are near a tram line, take tram number 18 and get off at the 'St. Michael's Cathedral' stop. After exiting the tram, walk along Triokhsviatytelska Street for about 5 minutes, and you will arrive at St. Michael's Golden-Domed Monastery at number 8.
