Alternatively, from Maidan Nezalezhnosti, you can take Tram number 18 from the tram stop located near the metro station. Ride the tram for about 10-15 minutes. Get off at the 'Lavra' stop. From there, walk straight down Lavrska Street for about 5 minutes, and you will see the Holy Dormition Cathedral on your right.
