If you're starting your journey from the city center, take the Metro Line 1 (red line) towards 'Heroiv Dnipra' and get off at 'Poshtova Ploshcha' station. Once you exit the station, follow the signs that lead you to the exit, which will bring you to the surface near the Dnipro River.

From Poshtova Ploshcha station, walk towards the river and head northeast along the riverbank. You will soon see a large park area called 'Volodymyrska Hill.' Continue walking along the path, and you'll find a sign directing you to the Kiev Funicular.

When you reach the entrance to the Funicular, you will see the ticket booth. Purchase your ticket and board the funicular. The ride will take you up to the upper station near the 'St. Michael's Cathedral' and the 'St. Sophia Cathedral.' Enjoy the scenic views of Kyiv as you ascend.

After arriving at the top station, you can explore the beautiful architecture and parks nearby. To get to the Funicular's lower station later, simply follow the signs back to the Funicular station, which is located on Ihorivska Street.
