Walking
From Rynok Square, head towards the northwest corner of the square, where you will find the iconic Town Hall. Walk straight along the street (Sakharova Street) that leads out of the square, keeping the Town Hall on your right. Continue walking for about 5 minutes, and you will reach the intersection with Svobody Avenue. Turn left onto Svobody Avenue. The Taras Shevchenko Monument will be located on your right-hand side after approximately 3 minutes of walking.

Public Transport (Tram)
If you prefer to take public transport, walk to the nearest tram stop from Rynok Square, which is 'Virmenska' tram stop. Board tram number 1 or 2 heading towards 'Zaliznychnyi Vokzal' (Train Station). After about 5 stops (around 10 minutes), get off at 'Svobody Avenue' stop. From there, walk back along Svobody Avenue for about 5 minutes, and you will find the Taras Shevchenko Monument on your left.
