Getting There

• Walking

  From the city center, head north on Milsom Street until you reach the junction with George Street. Turn left onto George Street, then continue straight until you reach Queen Square. Walk through Queen Square, taking the exit that leads onto the A4 (Bathwick Street). Cross over the road at the traffic lights and continue straight onto Pulteney Road. Follow Pulteney Road until you reach the bridge, which will take you over the River Avon. After crossing the bridge, take the first right onto Bathwick Hill, then follow the road as it curves to the left. Continue up Bathwick Hill until you reach the top, where you will see the Royal Crescent on your right.

• Public Transport (Bus)

  Catch a bus from the city center to the Royal Crescent. Head to the nearest bus stop, which is usually located on Dorchester Street. Look for bus services that have 'Royal Crescent' listed as one of their stops. Board the bus and enjoy a short ride; the journey usually takes about 10 minutes. When the bus arrives at the Royal Crescent stop, disembark and you will be right at your destination, ready to explore the famous Georgian architecture.

• Bicycle

  If you prefer cycling, you can rent a bike from one of the many bike rental stations in Bath. Start from the city center and head towards the A4 (Bathwick Street). Follow the same route as for walking, but use the designated bike lanes where available. Cycling will take approximately 10-15 minutes, depending on your pace. Once you reach Bathwick Hill, continue uphill and take the right onto the Royal Crescent, where you can lock your bike and enjoy the view.
