    From the city center of Belfast, head to the nearby bus station at Donegall Square. Take the Metro Bus 20 towards Newtownards. The journey will take approximately 45 minutes. Get off at the stop called 'Newtownards Bus Station'. From there, you can either take a taxi or walk. If you choose to walk, head southeast on Conway Square towards Portaferry Road. Continue on Portaferry Road for about 1.5 miles, and you will reach Mount Stewart, which is located on your left.

    Make your way to Belfast Central Station. Take a train towards Bangor; the journey takes about 30 minutes. Get off at the Newtownards station. From there, catch the Metro Bus 20 towards Newtownards, if available, or a taxi. If walking, head southwest on the A20 for about 1.5 miles until you reach Mount Stewart on your left.
