Walking
From the heart of Queen's Quarter, head towards the main road, University Road. Walk north until you reach the intersection with Botanic Avenue. Turn left onto Botanic Avenue and continue walking until you reach the junction with Great Victoria Street. At this junction, you will see the iconic Grand Opera House on your right. Continue straight onto Great Victoria Street and walk for approximately 15 minutes. You will pass by various shops and cafes. Keep an eye out for the signs directing to the city centre. As you approach the city centre, you will see the Belfast City Hall on your left. Queen's Square is located just a short walk from the City Hall; cross over Donegall Square South onto Queen's Square.

The Metro bus service (Metro 8 or 9) will take you directly to the city centre. The fare is approximately £2.00 for a single journey. Once you arrive at the city centre, disembark at the stop closest to Belfast City Hall. From there, you can easily walk to Queen's Square in about 5 minutes; just head northwest from City Hall towards Queen's Square.
