Car
From Blackpool, get onto the M55 motorway heading east. Continue on the M55 for approximately 15 miles until it merges with the M6 motorway. Take the M6 northbound towards Manchester. After about 7 miles, take exit 30 for the M61 towards Bolton/Manchester. Continue on the M61 for about 10 miles, then take exit 4 toward A6/Salford. Merge onto the A6 and follow signs for Walkden. After approximately 3 miles, turn left onto Bolton Road (A575) and keep going for about 1 mile. The Parish Church of St John the Baptist will be on your right at Bolton Rd, Walkden, Worsley, Manchester M28 3RD. Parking may be available near the church.

Take the tram towards Eccles and get off at the Eccles stop. From Eccles, catch the bus service 36 or 37 towards Bolton. Get off at the 'Walkden' stop, which is the closest stop to the church.
