Getting There

• Car

  From Brecon Beacons National Park, take the A470 south towards Cardiff. After approximately 25 miles, you will reach the outskirts of Cardiff. Continue following signs for the city center. When you reach the junction with the A48(M), merge onto the A48(M) towards Cardiff Bay. Take the exit towards Cardiff Bay and follow the road signs leading you to the Cardiff Bay area. Park in one of the nearby car parks, such as the Cardiff Bay multi-storey car park (CF10 5AL). From the car park, it's a short walk to the Cardiff Bay Aquabus Pier.

• Public Transportation

  If you prefer public transport, start by taking a bus from Brecon to Cardiff. You can catch a bus from Brecon Bus Station to Cardiff Central Station, which takes about 1 hour and 15 minutes. Once you arrive at Cardiff Central Station, exit the station and follow signs for the Cardiff Bay area. You can either take a local bus (such as the No. 6 or No. 8) or walk, which takes about 30 minutes. If walking, head towards the waterfront, where you will find signs directing you to Cardiff Bay Aquabus Pier.

• Taxi

  For a more direct option, consider taking a taxi from your location in Brecon Beacons National Park to Cardiff Bay Aquabus Pier. This will provide a door-to-door service. The journey will take approximately 30 to 40 minutes depending on traffic, and the cost may range between £40 to £60.
