Getting There

• Car

  If you are driving, start from the main road within Brecon Beacons National Park and head towards Cardiff. Use the A40 road towards Merthyr Tydfil, then merge onto the A470 towards Cardiff. Once you reach Cardiff, follow signs for the city center. On reaching the city center, look for signs to Gorsedd Gardens, which is located on Gorsedd Gardens Rd, CF10 3NP. There are parking facilities available nearby, but be aware that there may be parking fees ranging from £1 to £2 per hour depending on the area.

• Public Transportation - Train

  To reach Gorsedd Gardens via public transportation, take a train from a station in Brecon Beacons National Park, such as Abergavenny or Merthyr Tydfil, to Cardiff Central Station. Train services run regularly, and the journey takes approximately 30-60 minutes depending on your starting point. Once you arrive at Cardiff Central, exit the station and head towards the city center. Gorsedd Gardens is about a 15-minute walk from the station. Simply walk along the pedestrian-friendly streets, following signs towards the city center, until you reach Gorsedd Gardens Rd.

• Public Transportation - Bus

  If you prefer taking a bus, check for local bus services that operate from various locations within the Brecon Beacons National Park to Cardiff. Services like the X43 or T4 run regularly and will take you to Cardiff city center. The bus journey can take approximately 1-2 hours. Once you arrive at the city center bus station, Gorsedd Gardens is a short 10-15 minute walk away. Follow the signs pointing to Gorsedd Gardens Rd, and you'll reach your destination.
