Car
If you are driving from Caernarfon, take the A487 road heading northwest. Continue on the A487 for approximately 15 miles until you reach the village of Beddgelert. Once in Beddgelert, follow the signs for the Welsh Highland Railway. The station is located at Oberon Wds, Beddgelert, Caernarfon LL55 4YW. There is parking available near the station, but be aware that parking fees may apply.

Public Transportation (Bus)
To reach Beddgelert by public transport, take the bus from Caernarfon to Porthmadog. Look for the services operated by Arriva Cymru, typically labeled as the number 1 or 2 service. The journey should take about 45 minutes. Once you arrive in Porthmadog, transfer to the local bus service heading to Beddgelert (usually a service operated by the same company). The bus will drop you off in the village center, from which you can walk to the Welsh Highland Railway station at Oberon Wds, which is approximately a 10-minute walk.

If you are coming from further away, you can take a train to Porthmadog. From Caernarfon, you may need to change trains at Bangor or Llandudno Junction to reach Porthmadog. Upon arriving at Porthmadog station, take the local bus service to Beddgelert as mentioned previously. The Welsh Highland Railway station is a short walk from the Beddgelert bus stop.
