The original three-part footprint survives: a lower-ceiling front snug, a central bar with a steel-topped counter, and a taller rear room created by removing a former upper floor. Mixed tables, picnic benches and old Cambridge Beer Festival posters create an informal, homely feel. The wood-fired oven at roughly 290 °C forms the visual focus. Weekday afternoons remain quiet; evenings and event nights grow livelier with quiz sessions, live music or Sunday jam sessions.
