Train
From Cardiff Central Station, take a train towards Merthyr Tydfil. Trains run frequently, approximately every 30 minutes. The journey takes about 40 minutes. Get off at the Brecon station.

From Brecon station, walk to the bus stop located right outside the station. Take the bus number 43 towards Talgarth. The bus departs every hour and the ride takes about 20 minutes. Get off at the stop for Ox Hill Beacon.

Walking
Once you get off at the Ox Hill Beacon bus stop, walk up the hill towards the Ox Hill Beacon viewpoint. The hike is approximately 15-20 minutes and offers spectacular views. Follow the path leading up; it is well marked and leads directly to the Fan Frynych area.
