If you are starting from the city center, make your way to Queen Street, which is a major shopping street. Head south on Queen Street until you reach the end at the junction with Park Place. Cross over Park Place and continue straight ahead into King Edward VII Avenue. Alexandra Gardens will be on your right side, just a short 10-minute walk from Queen Street.

From the central bus station located on Custom House Street, take any bus heading towards Cathays or Roath. Get off at the stop named 'King Edward VII Avenue'. From there, walk towards Alexandra Gardens, which is just a 5-minute walk down the avenue. The bus fare is approximately £1.50 for a single journey.

If you prefer cycling, you can rent a bike from one of the cycle hire stations around the city center. Head towards the Cardiff Bay Cycle Route and make your way to Alexandra Gardens via King Edward VII Avenue. The ride should take about 10 minutes and is mostly on bike paths.
