From Cardiff Central Station, take a train on the Rhymney Line towards Caerphilly. The journey takes approximately 30 minutes. Trains run frequently, so check the schedule at the station or online. Once you arrive at Caerphilly Station, exit the station and head straight towards the roundabout.

After exiting Caerphilly Station, turn left and walk towards the roundabout. At the roundabout, take the second exit onto Cardiff Road (A469). Continue on this road for about 10-15 minutes until you reach another roundabout. Take the first exit onto Castle Street. The castle will be visible from here. Follow the signs to the castle entrance.

From Cardiff City Centre, catch the number 26 or 30 bus towards Caerphilly. The bus journey takes around 30 minutes. Alight at the Caerphilly Castle stop, which is directly outside the castle. Follow the signs to the castle entrance.
