If you are starting from Chester city center, head towards Eastgate Street. Walk down Eastgate Street until you reach The Cross, a central junction with a tall clock tower. From The Cross, continue straight onto Foregate Street until you reach the end of the road. At the end, turn left onto St. Werburgh Street. Follow this street until you see the entrance to the City Walls on your right. Enter the City Walls and follow the path along the wall until you reach King Charles Tower, which will be on your left after a short walk.

Turn right onto Frodsham Street and keep walking straight until you reach The Cross. From there, proceed as described above to reach King Charles Tower.
