Car
If you are driving, start from the center of Cirencester. Head west on Dyer Street towards the A429. Turn right onto the A429 and continue for approximately 1.5 miles. At the roundabout, take the second exit onto the A419 towards Swindon. After about 2 miles, take the exit for the B4040 towards Cricklade. Follow the B4040 for about 3 miles until you reach the Swillbrook Lakes Nature Reserve, which will be on your left. There is free parking available at the reserve.

To reach Swillbrook Lakes by public transport, start at the Cirencester bus station. Take the Stagecoach bus service (Route 855) towards Swindon. Get off at the stop called 'Cricklade Road'. From there, it is approximately a 1-mile walk to Swillbrook Lakes. Head south on Cricklade Road, and then turn left on the B4040. Follow this road, and Swillbrook Lakes will be on your right. Please check the bus schedule for the most up-to-date times and be aware that a fare of around £2.50 may apply for the bus ride.

If you are already in the vicinity of Cirencester and prefer to walk, you can reach Swillbrook Lakes from the town center. Walk south on the A429 until you reach the B4040. Turn left onto the B4040 and follow it for about 2 miles. The walk will take approximately 40-50 minutes, and you'll enjoy scenic views along the way. Ensure you wear comfortable shoes and bring water, especially if the weather is warm.
