Train
Portrush train station is approximately 1.5 km from West Strand Beach, with hourly services connecting to Coleraine and onward to Belfast, Derry, and Dublin. The walk from the station to the beach is flat and takes about 20-25 minutes, suitable for most travelers.
Bus
Local bus services run regularly to Portrush town centre from surrounding areas, including Coleraine and Portstewart. From the town centre, the beach is a 10-15 minute walk along pedestrian-friendly streets. Bus ticket prices range from £3 to £7 depending on the route.
Car
Driving to West Strand Beach is convenient via the A2 Portstewart Road. Seasonal parking is available near the beach with charges of approximately 50p per hour from April to September. Parking spaces include disabled bays. Note that parking can be limited during peak summer months.
