Start your journey at the iconic Guildhall, located in the heart of Derry. From the Guildhall, head east along the River Foyle, following the riverside path. Continue straight for about 0.5 miles until you reach the Peace Bridge. Cross the Peace Bridge, enjoying the scenic views of the river. Once you cross, turn left and follow the path leading towards the city. Continue on this path, which will lead you to Waterloo Place.

If you prefer to start from the Derry City Walls, enter the walls at the Bishop Street Gate. Walk along the walls towards the northwest until you reach the end of the walls. Descend from the walls at the end and walk straight ahead until you reach the junction at Waterloo Street. Turn right onto Waterloo Street and continue straight for a short distance until you reach Waterloo Place on your left.
