Getting There

  • Bus

    From Dundee city center, head to the bus station located at Seagate. Take the Stagecoach bus number X54 towards Kinross. The journey will take approximately 1 hour. Get off at the Kinross bus station. From there, you can walk to Kinross Pier, which is about a 15-minute walk. Exit the bus station and head southwest on Station Road. Continue straight until you reach the roundabout, then take the first exit onto the A911. Follow this road, and after a short walk, turn left onto Pier Road, which will lead you directly to the Kinross Pier.

  • Train and Bus

    From Dundee, walk to the Dundee Train Station located on South Union Street. Take a train to Perth, which typically takes around 20 minutes. Once at Perth station, exit and head to the bus stop for Stagecoach bus number 1 towards Kinross. The bus ride will take approximately 30 minutes. Get off at the Kinross bus station, and then walk to Kinross Pier as described above (15-minute walk).

  • Walking and Public Transport

    If you prefer to walk, you can take a scenic walk to the nearest bus stop. From the center of Dundee, head towards the nearest bus stop on the A92. Catch a number 73 bus towards Perth, which will take you to Kinross after about an hour. Once you arrive at Kinross, follow the same walking directions to the pier (15-minute walk).
