Getting There

• Car

  If you are driving from the city center of Perth, head southwest on High St/A85. Continue to follow the A85 for about 0.5 miles. Merge onto the A9 via the ramp to Inverness. After about 1.5 miles, take the exit toward A85/M90. Continue on the A85 for about 0.5 miles, then take the exit toward the A93. Follow signs for Perth PH2 8LJ. Greyfriars Burial Ground will be on your right after approximately 1 mile. There is limited parking available near the burial ground.

• Public Transportation

  To reach Greyfriars Burial Ground by public transport, start at Perth Bus Station. Take the number 7 bus heading towards Scone. After about 10 minutes, get off at the Greyfriars Church stop. From there, it’s a short 5-minute walk to the burial ground. Head southeast on Greyfriars Road, and follow it until you reach the entrance. The bus fare is approximately £1.50.

• Walking

  If you are already in Perth and prefer to walk, start from the city center at St John Street. Head south to High Street and continue onto South Methven Street. Turn right onto Tay Street/A85 and follow it for about 0.6 miles. Then, turn left onto Greyfriars Road, and the burial ground will be on your left after approximately 0.2 miles. This walk should take around 20-25 minutes.
