Walking
If you are in the city center of Dundee, start at the Dundee City Square. Head west towards High Street and turn left onto the High Street. Continue straight until you reach the junction with the Perth Road. Turn right onto Perth Road and walk north for about 1 mile. You will pass by the University of Dundee on your left. Continue along Perth Road until you reach the junction with Glamis Road. Turn left onto Glamis Road and follow it until you reach Balgay Park. Mills Observatory is located within the park, and you will see signs directing you to the observatory.

Public Transport (Bus)
From the city center, head to the nearest bus stop at the City Square. Look for the bus services that go towards 'Balgay Park' or 'Glamis Road'. One option is to take the number 5 bus, which will take you towards the observatory. Get off at the stop closest to Glamis Road. Once you disembark, walk up Glamis Road until you reach Balgay Park. Follow the path signs leading to Mills Observatory, which is located within the park.

If you prefer to cycle, you can rent a bike from one of the local bike-sharing services available in the city. Start your ride from the city center and head west on the cycle path along the main roads. Follow the same route as for walking: proceed along Perth Road and turn left onto Glamis Road. Continue cycling until you reach Balgay Park. There are bike racks available near Mills Observatory where you can securely lock your bike.
