Diggerland Durham is the UK's most unique construction-themed adventure park where visitors of all ages can drive, ride, and operate real earth-moving machinery in a safe, family-friendly environment. Located in Langley Park on the outskirts of Durham, this one-of-a-kind attraction features over 20 different rides and drives, including diggers, dumpers, go-karts, and the spectacular 50-foot Skyshuttle. With more than 100 machines to choose from and activities suitable for various age groups and abilities, Diggerland offers an unforgettable hands-on experience that combines thrilling adventure with genuine construction equipment operation.

By Car
Exit the A1(M) motorway at Junction 62. Head west on the A690 towards Durham city centre, cross the River Wear, and at the next roundabout turn right onto the A691 towards Consett. At the roundabout with a BP filling station, turn left towards Langley Park and the Riverside Industrial Estate. Diggerland is clearly signposted. Journey time from Durham city centre is approximately 20–25 minutes. The park provides 200 free on-site parking spaces and dedicated disabled parking areas.
By Train and Bus
Travel to Durham Railway Station via Virgin Trains East Coast (contact 03457 225 333). From the station, take a local bus service operated by Go North East (contact 0191 420 50 50) towards Langley Park or the Riverside Industrial Estate. Journey time from the station is approximately 30–40 minutes depending on service frequency and route. Check current timetables before travel, as services may vary seasonally.
By Coach
Group visits by coach are welcome, with dedicated free coach parking available at the site. Contact Diggerland in advance to arrange group bookings and to confirm parking arrangements. Coach services from major UK cities typically take 3–6 hours depending on origin. Advance booking is recommended for groups of 15 or more.
Electric Vehicle
EV charging facilities are available on-site during Diggerland's opening hours. Chargers cannot be pre-booked, so availability is not guaranteed. Check the ZapMap website or mobile app for live information on charger availability before your visit.
