    From Durham city centre, head to the bus station located at North Road. Look for the bus routes serving the area towards Ushaw. Take the 'X12' bus service heading towards 'Bishop Auckland' or 'Consett'. The journey will take approximately 20-25 minutes. Get off at the 'Ushaw' bus stop on Woodland Road. From there, it's a short walk to Ushaw: Historic House, Chapels & Gardens. Follow the signs that lead you directly to the entrance.

Ushaw: Historic House, Chapels & Gardens will be on your right, about a 30-40 minute walk from the city centre.
