Getting There

  • Walking

    If you are starting from the Durham Cathedral, exit the Cathedral and head down the hill towards the river. Once you reach the riverbank, turn right and follow the path along the River Wear. Continue walking until you reach the bridge. Cross the bridge, and you will find yourself on Elvet Bridge. After crossing, make a left onto the road and continue straight. You will pass several shops and cafes. After about 10 minutes of walking, you will arrive at Durham Market Place where Durham Pointers is located.

  • Bus

    From the Durham Bus Station, exit the station and head towards North Road. Look for bus routes that head towards the City Centre. Take any bus that stops at 'Market Place' or 'Claypath'. The journey should take around 5-10 minutes. Once you get off, you will be directly at Durham Market Place, where Durham Pointers is located.

  • Walking from the Train Station

    Upon exiting Durham Train Station, head towards the main road (North Road) and turn right. Follow North Road as it curves into the city center. Walk for about 15 minutes, and you will reach the Market Place. Durham Pointers is located in the heart of the Market Place.
