Underground Vaults Walking Tour in Edinburgh Old Town

How they lived in the olden days

My family and I had a great time at the Vaults Tour. Our guide Rachel was very informative, we spent about half an hour walking around the old town seeing and hearing places of historical interest. The other half hour of the tour was spent underground into the Vaults which was very interesting, definitely worth a visit.

Take this tour now - not a trap like so many others!

So many tours feel like tourist traps these days. Like once you hand over your money the tour guide drops the pretense and the tour is not as interesting or as informative as you thought it would be. THIS tour is the opposite. We had Jordan, who was funny, personable, and very well informed. Learned SO much about the city while also being entertained by fascinating stories - a great mix of history and ghostly entertainment. I was also impressed with the ease with which Jordan managed our mixed group - he chatted with the kids on the tour as we walked from place to place and I could tell that the kids really felt special and interested. Honestly it's a wonderful tour - I never write reviews but made the exception for this one.
