Getting There

• Walking

  If you're starting from Edinburgh Waverley Train Station, exit the station and head towards the main road, which is Princes Street. Walk towards the Scott Monument and continue straight until you reach the junction with South Bridge. Turn left onto South Bridge and continue walking until you reach the junction with George IV Bridge. Turn right onto George IV Bridge, and then take a left onto Candlemaker Row. Continue straight until you reach Grassmarket, where The Comedy Attic is located at 18-20 Grassmarket, just a few doors down on your right.

• Bus

  If you prefer taking a bus, you can catch the Lothian Buses number 23 or 27 from Waverley Bridge, right outside the train station. You should disembark at the Grassmarket stop. Once you get off the bus, walk in the direction of the bus route until you reach Grassmarket square. The Comedy Attic will be located at 18-20 Grassmarket, on your left.

• Tram

  To reach The Comedy Attic by tram, take the Edinburgh Trams from the York Place tram stop. Ride the tram towards the airport and disembark at the Princes Street stop. From there, walk towards the Scott Monument and make your way to South Bridge as mentioned in the walking directions. Follow the same steps to reach The Comedy Attic at 18-20 Grassmarket.

• Taxi

  For a more direct option, you can take a taxi from wherever you are in Edinburgh. Simply tell the driver to take you to 18-20 Grassmarket, and they will be able to navigate the quickest route for you. Taxis are readily available throughout the city, and you can hail one on the street or use a taxi app.
