Getting There

• Car

  Start your journey in Flintshire by getting onto the A55 road towards Chester. Follow the A55 for approximately 12 miles until you reach the junction for the A5116. Take the exit onto the A5116 towards Chester. Continue on this road for about 1.5 miles until you reach the roundabout. At the roundabout, take the second exit onto the A540, following signs for Chester. This road will lead you directly into Chester city center. Once in the city, follow the signs for the Cathedral. There is parking available at several locations, with the nearest car park being the 'Chester Market' car park (CH1 2EF), which charges an hourly rate.

• Public Transportation

  If you prefer to take public transport, start by taking a train from Flint Station to Chester Station. Trains run regularly, and the journey takes approximately 30 minutes. Once you arrive at Chester Station, exit the station and head towards the city center. Follow the signs for the Cathedral, which is about a 15-minute walk. • Walking

  If you are already in Chester and wish to walk to the Cathedral, start at the city center. Head towards St Werburgh Street, where the Cathedral is located at St Werburgh St, Chester CH1 2DY. The Cathedral is easily accessible by foot and is a significant landmark in the area, making it a pleasant and straightforward walk.
