If you're starting from Glasgow Central Station, exit the station onto Gordon Street. Walk straight ahead until you reach the junction with Hope Street. Turn left onto Hope Street and continue walking until you reach the roundabout at Renfield Street. From there, take the first exit onto St Vincent Place, and continue straight. You'll reach George Square in about 10 minutes, where the Walter Scott Monument is located at the north side of the square at 50 George Square, Glasgow G2 1EH.

Exit the station and walk towards Buchanan Street, then continue walking until you reach the junction with George Square.
