Walking
From the Gorbals area, head north on Gorbals Street towards the junction with Eglinton Street. Cross over to Eglinton Street and continue walking straight. You will pass a series of shops and residential buildings. Keep walking straight until you reach the roundabout. At the roundabout, take the first exit onto the A8 (Ingram Street). Continue on Ingram Street for about 10 minutes. The Glasgow 2014 Monument will be on your left side at the corner of Ingram Street and Queen Street, just before you reach the Merchant City area.

Public Transport (Bus)
From Gorbals, walk to the nearest bus stop located on Gorbals Street. Board any bus heading towards the city center, such as bus number 7 or 22. After a short ride (approximately 5-10 minutes), alight at the stop on Ingram Street. Walk back towards the direction of the bus you were on for about 5 minutes, and you will see the Glasgow 2014 Monument ahead at the corner of Ingram Street and Queen Street.

Make your way to the nearest train station, which is the Glasgow Central Station. From Gorbals, it is a 15-minute walk to the station. Once at the station, take any train heading towards the city center. You can get off at the next stop, which is Argyle Street Station. From there, exit the station and walk towards the A8 (Ingram Street). Turn left on Ingram Street and walk for about 10 minutes until you reach the Glasgow 2014 Monument located at the intersection of Ingram Street and Queen Street.
