Car
If you're traveling by car, start on the M5 motorway. Exit at Junction 13 and take the A419 towards Stroud. Follow the A419 for approximately 3 miles until you reach the roundabout. Take the first exit onto the A46. Continue on the A46 for about 3 miles, then turn left onto the B4073 towards Painswick. After about 1.5 miles, you will reach Painswick village. Follow the signs to Painswick Beacon. There is limited parking available at the Beacon, so be prepared to park in designated areas and walk the final stretch.

Public Transportation
To reach Painswick Beacon via public transport, take a train to Stroud Railway Station. From Stroud, catch the number 63 bus towards Painswick. The bus ride will take about 15 minutes. Get off at the Painswick stop and follow the signs for Painswick Beacon, which is about a 25-minute walk from the bus stop. Be aware that bus services may vary, so check the timetable in advance. The bus fare is approximately £2-£3.

For those who prefer walking, if you're already in Painswick, head towards the Beacon via the footpaths. From the village center, take the path leading up to the Beacon. It is a steep walk, but the views are worth it. The hike from Painswick village to the Beacon takes about 30 minutes.
