    If you're driving, start from the nearest major town, Aberystwyth. Head northwest on the A487 towards Machynlleth. Continue on the A487 for about 30 miles until you reach the A496 junction. Take the A496 towards Barmouth. After approximately 5 miles, turn left onto the A493. Follow this road until you reach Tal-y-bont. Look for the signs to Tal-y-bont beach. The beach is located near postcode LL43 2BJ.

    To reach Tal-y-bont beach via public transport, catch a train from your location to Barmouth train station. From Aberystwyth, you can take the train to Barmouth which takes about an hour.
