If you're driving, start from the main town of Porthmadog. Head southwest on the A487 towards Ffestiniog. After approximately 17 miles, take the A470 towards Llanbedr. Continue on the A470 for about 4 miles until you reach Llanbedr. Once in Llanbedr, follow the signs for Coed Crafnant. The nature reserve is located on the outskirts of the village. Look for parking areas near the reserve, and don't forget to check for any parking fees, which may apply.

From the main train station in Bangor, take the train to Harlech. This journey takes around 30 minutes. Upon arrival at Harlech station, you can catch a local bus service that goes to Llanbedr. Make sure to check local bus schedules in advance as they may not run frequently. Once you arrive in Llanbedr, follow the signs to Coed Crafnant. The nature reserve is within walking distance of the village. Be prepared for a short walk, and check if the bus service has a fare.
