Getting There

• Car

  If you are driving, start from the city center of Inverness. Head southwest on Church Street toward High Street/A82. Continue to follow A82 and take the A9 exit toward Perth/A96/A82. Merge onto A9 and then take the exit toward A82. Continue on A82 for about 1.5 miles until you reach the junction for Overton Avenue. Turn left onto Overton Avenue and follow the road for approximately 0.5 miles. You will find Craig Phadrig on your left. Parking is available nearby.

• Public Transportation

  To reach Craig Phadrig via public transport, take the bus from Inverness Bus Station. Look for the bus services operating toward Drumnadrochit or Fort Augustus which typically stop at Craig Phadrig. The number 13 bus is a common option. After getting off at the nearest bus stop, walk along Overton Avenue for about 10 minutes until you reach Craig Phadrig. Be sure to check the bus schedule for exact timings and return options.

• Walking

  If you are already in Inverness and prefer to walk, you can start from the city center. Head southwest on Church Street, then continue onto the A82. Follow the A82 for about 1.5 miles, and then turn onto Overton Avenue. Craig Phadrig will be approximately a 30-minute walk from the city center. It’s advisable to wear comfortable shoes as the walk includes some uphill sections.

• Bicycle

  For those who enjoy cycling, you can rent a bike in Inverness. Start from the city center and follow the A82 towards Overton Avenue. The route is mostly flat but be cautious of traffic. Upon reaching Overton Avenue, Craig Phadrig is a short ride further up the road. Make sure to wear a helmet and follow road safety rules. The entire journey is about 3 miles and should take around 15-20 minutes.
