Turn left onto High Street and follow it until you reach the River Ness. You will see the river and the scenic walkway along its banks.

From the Inverness Railway Station, exit the station and walk straight onto Academy Street. Continue walking until you reach the junction with Church Street. Turn right onto Church Street and head down to the riverbank. Once you reach the end of Church Street, you will find yourself at the River Ness.
Public Transport (Bus)

If you are at the Inverness Bus Station, you can catch a local bus heading towards the city centre. Buses such as the 1 or 2 will take you to the main stops near the River Ness. Get off at the 'Inverness City Centre' stop, then follow the walking directions from the city centre to the river as described previously.
Walking

If you are staying at the Mercure Inverness Hotel, exit the hotel and walk south on Millburn Road. Continue until you reach the junction with Bank Street, then turn left. Walk straight until you reach the River Ness, where you can enjoy the views along the riverbank.
