Getting There

  • Bus

    From Inverness city center, head to the bus station located at Margaret Street. Take the Stagecoach bus number 10 towards Forres. The journey takes approximately 30 minutes. Get off at the 'Forres' stop, which is near the town center. Once you exit the bus, walk straight along High Street until you reach the junction with Forres Road. Turn left onto Forres Road, and then take the next right onto Invererne Road. The Benromach Distillery will be on your left, approximately a 15-minute walk from the bus stop.

  • Train

    From Inverness Railway Station, purchase a ticket to Forres. Trains run regularly and the journey takes about 25 minutes. Once you arrive at Forres Station, exit the station and turn left onto Station Road. Walk straight until you reach the High Street, then turn right. Continue along High Street until you reach Forres Road, where you will turn left. Take the next right onto Invererne Road, and you will find Benromach Distillery on your left after about a 15-minute walk.

  • Walking

    If you prefer to walk from Inverness, head south towards the River Ness and follow the riverbank. This route is scenic and will take you through some beautiful landscapes. Continue along the river until you reach the A96 road. Cross over to the other side and follow the A96 towards Forres. After about 5 miles, look for signs directing you to the distillery. Turn left onto Invererne Road, and Benromach Distillery will be on your left. Note that this option requires good walking shoes and may take around 2 hours.
