Getting There

• Walking

  If you're starting from Inverness Castle, head east along Castle Street, and then turn left onto Bridge Street to cross the River Ness. Continue straight onto Huntly Street, which will lead you to the Ness Islands. Walk through the islands, enjoying the scenic views. Once you exit the islands, continue along the river until you reach Bught Park. Keep walking straight, and you will see signs directing you towards Whin Park.   From Inverness Bus Station, take the number 4 or number 5 bus towards Bught Park. The journey will take approximately 10 minutes. Disembark at the Bught Park stop. From there, walk towards the park entrance and follow the paths leading you to Whin Park Boating, which is located within Bught Park.

• Cycling

  If you have access to a bike, you can cycle from the city center. Start on Castle Street heading towards the River Ness. Follow the riverside path towards Bught Park. As you approach the park, look for signs that guide you to Whin Park Boating. The cycling route is approximately 1.5 miles and offers a pleasant ride along the river.

• Taxi

  For a more direct route, you can take a taxi from any location in Inverness. Simply provide the driver with the address 'Bught Lane, Inverness IV3 5SS.' The taxi ride should take around 5-10 minutes, depending on traffic.
