Car
If you are traveling by car, start from Portree, the largest town on the Isle of Skye. Take the A87 road heading west towards Broadford. Continue on the A87 until you reach the junction with the A850. Turn right onto the A850 and follow it until you reach Dunvegan. In Dunvegan, follow the signs for Coral Beach, which will take you onto the B884 road. Continue on this road until you reach the Claigan Coral Beach Car Park, located at Unnamed Road, Claigan, Dunvegan, Isle of Skye IV55 8WF. The car park is free to use.

Public Transportation
If using public transportation, take a bus from Portree to Dunvegan. The bus service is operated by Stagecoach and runs several times a day. Once you arrive in Dunvegan, you may need to walk approximately 3 miles to reach the Claigan Coral Beach Car Park. Follow the B884 road towards Coral Beach, and you’ll see signs directing you to the car park. Be sure to check the bus schedule ahead of time, as services may be limited, especially on weekends.

For those staying nearby or who prefer walking, you can reach Claigan Coral Beach from Dunvegan by following the B884 road. The walk is about 3 miles and takes approximately 1 hour. There are beautiful views along the way, so make sure to enjoy the scenery as you go. Ensure you wear comfortable shoes, as the terrain can be uneven in places.
