Continue on the A956 until you reach the roundabout, then take the second exit onto the A948 towards Collieston. Follow the signs to Collieston, and then head towards Whiteness Cottages (address: Whiteness Cottages, Collieston, Ellon AB41 8RS) which is the closest location to Hackley Bay. There is parking available along the road near the beach.
