Car
If you're driving, start on the A92 road heading towards Montrose. From the town center, follow the signs for the A92 towards Aberdeen. Continue along the A92 for about 3 miles until you reach Rossie Braes. The Scottish Wildlife Trust, Montrose Basin Visitor Centre and Wildlife Reserve will be on your left. There is free parking available at the visitor centre.

Public Transportation
To reach the Montrose Basin Visitor Centre by public transport, take a train to Montrose Station. From there, you can catch the Stagecoach bus service (number 30) that goes towards the A92. Ask the driver to drop you off at the nearest stop to Rossie Braes. The visitor centre is a short walk from the bus stop, heading towards the A92. Be sure to check the bus schedule in advance, as services may vary.

If you are already in the Montrose area and prefer walking, you can walk from Montrose town center to the visitor centre. The distance is approximately 2 miles. Head northwest on the A92 road towards Aberdeen. Once you reach Rossie Braes, the visitor centre will be on your left. It is advisable to wear comfortable walking shoes and check the weather before you set off.
